Audi has brought the new Q7 to India and the flagship SUV by the German car maker will cost you a whooping Rs 72 lakh. The car will be sold in two variants with only one engine option available.
The Q7 will be powered by a 3.0-litre TDI engine which produces 245bhp and 600Nm of torque from as low as 1500rpm. The engine is coupled with a 8-speed tiptronic automatic gearbox. The powertrain delivers the power to the wheels through Audi's AWD Quattro system.
The design of the exterior has been sharpened up with new Matrix LED headlamps making an appearance on the Q7. The single frame grille in the front and 20 inch alloys add to the SUV's looks.
The Q7 weighs 325kg less than its predecessor thanks to it being smaller than its predecessor and Audi's strategic use of lightweight construction, multi-material assembly and aluminum components.
The new Q7's competition will be the BMW X5 and the Mercedes Benz GLE in the Indian market.
