The Indian 2000-rupee banknote (₹2000) is a denomination of Indian currency. It is a part of Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series of banknotes with a completely new design and will be in circulation from 10 November 2016. The size of the new note is 66 × 166 mm. The base colour of the note is magneta. Indian 2000-rupee note is the highest denomination of currency note printed by RBI that would be in active circulation.
