India as a country is famous for its immensely talented professionals in almost every field. In addition to talented professionals, India has also produced some famous child prodigies who have excelled in their own fields. #1. Kishan Shrikanth
Kishan, popularly known as the youngest director in the world. At the age of 10, he has directed his first feature film “C/o Footpath” and recognized by Guinness Book of World Records.
#2. Sushma Verma
At the age of 13, Sushma had completed her graduation and decided to study microbiology. She aspire to become a doctor. After completing Class 12 she opted for MBBS course but they refused as she was underage.
#3. Ajay Puri
At the age of 18 months, he was already operating a computer. He was operating MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc. Ajay, at the age of four he became the youngest person in the world to design his own web page.
#4. Priyanshi Somani
At a very young age of six, Priyanshi won Mental Calculation World Cup in 2010 by beating 37 competitors from 16 different countries. She was the youngest participant from all and scored 100%.
#5. Akrit Jaswal
At the age of seven, Akrit Jaswal performed a surgery of a neighbour. He started studying medicine at the age of 12. At the age of 17, he applied for a Master’s Course in Chemistry. His aim is to find a cure for cancer.
#6. Keshava Kaarthikeyan
At the age of seven, Keshava performed live at the ceremony of Commonwealth Games in New Delhi. He started playing tabla at the age of two.
#7. Truptraj Pandya
Pandya was just 18 months old when he started playing the tabla. At age 6, he was awarded with a certificate from Guinness Book of World Records for being the youngest ever Tabla Master.
#8. Edmund Thomas Clint
In his short life of 7 years, he had achieved a lot. He passed away due to kidney failure at the age of 7. Edmund was a brilliant artist. He made 30,000 paintings at a young age of 7. He won a painting competition at the age of 5.
#9. Angad Daryani
At the age of 13, Angad Daryani made India’s first 3D printer. With MIT he developed an “eye pad” for the blind. Angad is a dropped out from school in Class 9.
#10. Kautilya Pandit
A six-year-old boy, Kautilya Pandit popularly known as a mini- encyclopaedia. He has an IQ of 130 points. He has been featured on many television shows in different countries.
#11. Shorya Mahanot
Seven year old Shorya Mahanot started his tryst with colours when he discovered his sisters’ art books. But unlike them, he gravitated towards abstract works, very much like Jackson Pollock, who incidentally happens to be this young prodigy’s role model. When asked about Pollock in an interview, Shorya replied, “He also makes paintings like me.”
#12. Balamurali Ambati
At the age of 17, Balamurali became World’s youngest doctor. He is a co-author of a research book on AIDS. Balamurali has completed his graduation at the age of 17.
#13. Anshuman Nandi
Four year old Anshuman Nandi from Tripura is already famous as one of India’s youngest drummers. He picked up drumming while observing his dad teach it to some of his students. Nandi has already made a mark in the national arena by showcasing his skill in India’s Got Talent and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa .
#14. Chitresh Tatha
Twelve year old Chitresh Tatha from Tamil Nadu has a bright future in sailing. This year, at the Asian Games, he was the youngest sailor to participate from India. He trains for almost 6 hours a day and sails in the Optimist Dinghy category. His exploits have seen him travel all over the world including Ireland, France, Bahrain, Malaysia, the Netherlands and Malta.
#15. Tenith Adithyaa
This 11th grade student stays up till 3AM on most nights tinkering in his lab. He already has 17 inventions under his name including an Adjustable Electricity Extension Board and a Banana Leaf Preservation Technology. In July this year, he also spent some time getting mentored in Rashtrapati Bhavan.
