After Superman’s Herculean battle with Zod, which devastated the city of Metropolis, many were left feeling angry and hopeless. Superman, the Earth’s most controversial figure, is then perceived to be more of a threat than a symbol of hope. Batman sets out on a personal vendetta to end Superman’s reign on Earth, while villainous madman Lex Luthor launches his own crusade against the Man of Steel.

Ben Affleck being cast as Batman definitely came as a surprise to many, leading us to question whether or not he’d do well in the role.
9. DC Universe Characters to watch out for!
Reported appearances and characters included in the film: Aquaman, Wonderwoman, The Flash, and Cyborg. The Atom’s alter ego, Ryan Choi, is also reportedly in the film. “Batman v Superman” will be the first time these superheroes will be together on the big screen.
8. Springboard for Justice league and solo DC superhero films
Who doesn’t love a great superhero flick? Here’s to hoping for more DC Universe movies!

Another stand-alone Batman movie is reportedly in the works and it will be connected with “Batman v Superman” instead of Nolan’s Batman.
1. Doomsday
According to Trailer 2 of “Batman v Superman”, which was panned by critics and fans for revealing too much, it looks like Doomsday is going to be in the movie as well. Doomsday was the first DC villain to kill Superman (The Death of Superman storyline) by beating him to death.
