Instagram rolling out video view counts to show how many times your videos were seen
Instagram has announced that it is launching video view counts and will also offer new product changes this year. The company stated that views are the most widely accepted form of feedback on video, and that’s why, users will begin to see view counts underneath videos where they would normally see likes.
“Since launching video two years ago and introducing Hyperlapse and Boomerang, you’ve made video storytelling on Instagram take off. Whether sitting front row at Fashion Week or spending a day on the beach, nothing brings moments to life like video. Adding view counts is the first of many ways you’ll see video on Instagram get better this year,” Instagram wrote in a blog post.
This month, Instagram also officially introduced multi-account support inside the app, with which users can now maintain more than one account on the same device. The new feature will be available in the new version 7.15 of the app, which will allow users to have up to five accounts logged in. According to the Instagram Blog, users will need to go to their profile settings to add an additional account.
From there, you can tap your username at the top of your profile to switch between accounts. Once you have multiple accounts added, you shall see your profile photo appear in places throughout the app, so you can always tell which one you are using at the moment.
