New Chevrolet Cruze 2016 was launched in India on Saturday, January 30, 2016 in the price range of Rs 14.68 lakh – Rs 17.81 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new Chevrolet Cruze gets updated styling and added features including the MyLink infotainment system and rear view camera. On the outside, the car premium sedan features new LED daytime running lamps, chrome horizontal slats with new projector fog lamps.
The new MyLink infotainment system features a new 7-inch touchscreen with applications like internet radio, grace note & SIRI eyes free compatibility, Bluetooth audio streaming & phone telephony with voice recognition control and and few more. The vehicle’s steering wheel also gets buttons for infotainment & Bluetooth handsfree.

Since its launch, Cruze continues to be one of the largest-selling Chevrolet nameplates selling over 3.5 million units globally,” said Kaher Kazem, President and Managing Director, General Motors India.

Since it’s just a mid-life facelift, the new Chevrolet Cruze 2016 continues to feature the same 2.0-litre VCDi engine that is good for 164bhp and 380Nm. Transmission options on offer are a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. As per ICAT, the automatic version of the car is claimed to return 14.81kmpl of mileage and the manual version returns 17.9kmpl.
Coming to safety features, the Cruze 2016 gets dual front airbags, two side airabgs, anti-lock braking system (ABS), passive entry passive start (PEPS) taht automatically controls, anti-theft alarm, ignition and central locking system.
