Samsung launches Galaxy A3, A5 and A7


Korean handset maker Samsung has finally launched three much awaited smartphones in its Galaxy A series – Galaxy A3, A5 and A7. The trio will be available in China in mid-December 2015 and other markets in the future.

The smartphones are believed to be the mid-range alternative to the Galaxy S series.

Coming to specification features, the Galaxy A7 sports a 5.5-inch full HD 1920 x 1080p and weighs 172 grams. The internals include a 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM and support for LTE category 6 network speeds. A 3,300mAh Fast Charging battery completes the package. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone houses 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

The Galaxy A5 sports a 5.2-inch full-HD Super Amoled display, and a 2900mAh battery. It measures 144.8×71.0×7.3mm and weighs 155 grams. It has 2 GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) features a 4.7-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) resolution Super Amoled display, quad-core 1.5GHz processor, 1.5GB of RAM.
