On day 42 of Bigg Boss 9, the inmates were pleasantly surprised by the entry of Deepika Padukone as part of promotions for her film Tamasha. Even as Deepika grabbed eyeballs by going down on her knees and proposing to host Salman Khan, we all did not fail to notice how Ranbir Kapoor was missing from the entire scene. It seems the actor wanted to avoid meeting Salman Khan! Yes, you read that right.
Apparently, it was the Katrina Kaif factor that prevented Ranbir from doing promotional duties with Deepika on the sets of Bigg Boss 9. The Tamasha actor, who is dating Katrina, the ex-girlfriend of Salman, may have chosen to avoid the unpredictable Bigg Boss host citing ‘personal reasons.’ And we all saw how Salman inquired Deepika about Ranbir’s whereabouts when she turned up solo for the promotions!
According to reports, Ranbir was heard telling reporters that there were ‘many personal reasons’ behind him not visiting Bigg Boss. The actor, who was seen opposite Katrina in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Raajneeti, was quite diplomatic and played safe when asked about his decision!
It seems there is no love lost between Ranbir and Salman. Considering how strongly Salman once felt for Katrina, it isn’t surprising why Ranbir chose to avoid uncomfortable moments with the Dabangg star.
