iPad Pro charging issues

According to a report by Re/code, users of the newly launched iPad Pro are facing issues with the device and Apple has acknowledged the problem.

Many users took to social networks to vent out their frustration on how the device went blank after charging and needed a hard reset. The company has now released a support document revealing how to reset the iPad Pro when it becomes unresponsive and the screen goes black. Moreover, the company is also working on a fix for the issue.

The report talks about a user discussing the issue on Apple forum and how the post managed to get about 300 comments. “At night it was down to 40% so I charged it and went to bed.  When I woke up it was “dead”.  It wouldn’t wake up.  I needed to perform a hard reset to get it to come to life,” the users wrote. Soon, many users started saying how they are facing a similar problem.

Some other reports are also talking about missing data on the latest iPhone 6s too. “The root of the glitch is uncertain, but may be connected to the original devices being updated to iOS 9.0.1 or later, and the replacements having iOS 9.0. Others have suggested simply that iCloud is pushing out corrupt backups,” an AppleInsider report points out.

The company is said to be working on a patch or may roll out an update in the next iOS 9.2.
